Handling of personal data
We would like to inform you below about how we handle personal data in the context of your use of our app. Unless otherwise explained in the paragraphs below, the legal basis for handling your personal data is based on the fact that it is necessary to handle this information in order to be able to provide the requested functionalities of the app (Art. 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).


Using our app

Communication with our app
In order to be able to provide you with the functionalities of our app, it will automatically transfer the following information to us each time you use it:
•    IP address
•    Date and time of access
•    Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
•    Type of device, model and operating system
•    Access status / HTTP status code
•    Volume of data transferred
•    Language settings, version of the app
•    Registration details (user name and password)
•    Action performed

In order to protect our legitimate interests, we will store the above information for a limited period of time in order to be able to derive personal data in the event of unauthorized access or attempted access to our servers (Art. 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Registration and login
If you would like to use certain services of our app, you have to register with us. You create a customer account in which you set your personal login data for logging into the app. We collect the following information about you during the registration and login process:
•    User name and password
•    Login record including timestamp
We process this personal data to enable you to access our app and the services it provides. If you deactivate your user account, this personal data will be deleted.


LINK APP

Matomo (formerly Piwik)
We use an app analysis service named Matomo in our app. Matomo uses what is known as “cookies”. These are text files which are placed on your device and allow your use of the website to be analyzed. For this reason, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymized before being saved.
Matomo cookies stay on your end device until you delete them.
Storing Matomo cookies and using this analysis tool are based on
Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f . GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the anonymized analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both their website and the way in which they advertise. If corresponding consent has been requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR; this consent can be revoked at any time.
You must agree to your data being stored in this way in order to use the app. You cannot use the app without first giving your consent to this. It is only possible to access the app after you have registered.
The information generated by the cookie regarding the use of this app will not be disclosed to third parties.

•    The right of rectification, erasure or limiting of the processing of your personal data.
•    The right to object to the processing of your data that serves our legitimate interest, a public interest or profiling, unless we can prove that there are compelling reasons for processing your data worth being protected that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or that the processing of your data serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
•    The right to data portability.
•    The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
•    You can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future. You will find more detailed information on this in those sections above which describe data processing based on your consent.
